In my personal fitness management programs over the last 25 years, I have provided a service known as Personal Nutrition Coaching. How does this service help you improve your health, reduce unhealthy bodyfat levels while improving overall body composition?

Look over each of these points below and I think you will find that my personal nutrition coaching services may help you in ways you may have never considered before.

1. First, I provide you with software that complies with the American Dietetic Association requirements of what a healthy nutrition program should consist of. I DO NOT plan your diet but you can learn how to do that on your own with this state of the art software.

2. Second I perform bodyfat assessments which will help establish your BMR as well as your daily activity levels. This helps to keep you from under or overeating as each person has a base number of calories they should consume each day.
.
3. Thirdly I help you understand how your body utilizes food as an energy source for basic human performance ranging from metabolic requirements to exercise and sports.
.
4. Fourth, I help you understand the value of applying the Glycemic Index to your nutrition plan which may help you manage your weight along with certain medical conditions. Each of which you should discuss with your physician.

5. I help you understand the dangers of fad diets, gimmicks, diet pills and fat burning supplements. All your really need is a good multi-vitamin and mineral supplement as endorsed by the American Medical Association in June of 2000 in their magazine JAMA or the Journal of the American Medical Association.

6. Along with understanding macronutrients and how food, through healthy nutrition practices you can successfully use the software to design your very own personal nutrition and eating plan.

7. Last you will understand through the use of our unique wellness manual how to utilize all the technologies available to you while educating you on what real healthy nutrition is all about.

Diets - Weight Loss Plans - Commercial Diets
Warning - read this first!

Weight loss; diets; trimming down; losing the hips and belly; whatever you want to call it, it is a national obsession and rightly so. Currently there are more than 66% (nearly 90 million) Americans that are considered overweight or obese.

Losing weight is something that each and everyone of us has either done or attempted to do at least once in our life. For many it is an ongoing battle and each battle seems to get worse. You lose the weight only to go off the diet and see everything you lost come back with a vengence while bringing a few more of their fat friend pounds. Not only is this depressing but dangerous because it results in a depressed metabolism, metabolic syndrome and even diabetes and cardiovasular disease.

With so many people in America alone the market is always ready for another revolutionary diet from one of the giants in the commercial diet industry. The problem is, if all these diets work, then why are people becoming MORE overweight and obese as each year passes? And if the last fat burning miracle was so good, why do we need another?

Then there are products such as Alli that was once a prescription and now it is available over the counter and is endorsed by the FDA. It should also be endorsed by Procter and Gamble the makers of the laundry detergent Tide because of the "anal leakage" reported to be experienced if you take this product. Anal leakage? Are you serious? Let me assure you right now, what these people experience isn't anal leakage but more like an anal blast of uncontrolled feces. You have very little control over your "bottom line" if this stuff decides to kick in.

Is there any hope?

Yes there is and you are at the right place and the right time.

Total Healthcare Fitness is a full service health, wellness and weight management company specializing in customized and personalized programs. We do not, and I repeat, we do not do diets and we are not dieticians. We do not use any type of point driven plan or calorie restriction eating methods and we certainly do not require you to go out and buy thousands of dollars of pre-packaged foods that are high in sodium and preservatives. These types of programs are not easily managed except for such a short period of time in one's life. Also we don't design diets like dieticians do, but we teach you how to manage food which affects how you manage your weight.

Think about this for a moment; we are the most overfed yet undernourished nation in the world. Why do you think that is? It's simple really - we eat junk which has little nutritional value to it. It's nothing more than putting bulk in our stomach that has a unique and addictive taste to it. If you don't believe me rent the movie "Super Size Me" and you will see what I am talking about.

So now you have an idea of what our problem is on a nationwide level is, but what about you? Yours could simply be that you don't know what to eat (which is really what you learned in high school); maybe you have been so ingrained about "watching your weight" that you think that is all you have to worry about. Sorry but it is a whole lot more than that. Maybe you have never exercised before or maybe it could be you have an eating disorder that needs to be addressed; maybe you find eating to be an emotional comfort to help cover up something painful in your past or you have some nutritional imbalance existing. Whatever it may be, just having a diet plan isn't going to work. That is why so many commercial diet plans never are 100% successful.

So why is our nutrition plan so different? Several reasons:

1. This program is customized to your individual needs, wants and desires. This is not a cookie cutter program.

2. This program is based in the science of nutrition and not the science of marketing like so many commercial diet plans specialize in. There is a strong educational component.

3. You will be working with a weight management coach both individually and in some cases in a group if you organize one.

4. There is a strong exercise componenet to this program. If you don't exercise you can't be a part of this. All weight loss requires physical activity. Your weight managment coach is also a professionally certified and board registered personal trainer so you will have someone to help you with this component as well.

5. We may use nutritional supplements to help fill in the missing gaps, clean the digestive system and help get you healthy and well but they are not required.

6. You will learn how to eat, what to eat and how food acts on your body, your mind and your energy levels as well as how it is going to affect your future health. This is an educational program, not a diet.

7. You are going to have the support to discuss any problems or issues you may be facing in your life that will or has impacted your emotions in any way. If you need to pursue professional assistance with counseling we can help guide you into the right direction.

8. We simply will not quit on you.

This is a one of a kind program. For those who go through it they have seen tremendous success. With over 25years in the health, fitness and weight management coaching business I have had access to the most successful programs and leaders in the industry. Each program is 10 weeks in duration and broken down into five, 2 week phases. This helps you to adjust to each new phase and system you will be going on. Progress is made in small increments which will help you to change slowly but permanently, exchanging undesirable behaviors for desirable ones. By the end of the 10 weeks you will be well on your way to a healthier, stronger and physically fit body and improved quality of life.
